My name is Jeanne McMindes.

I love spending time outside and experiencing the seasons unfold –snow covered Helleborus flowers in February; the sweet fragrance of an early spring blooming Daphne odora;  the sound of hummingbirds as they draw nectar from a honeysuckle flower;  the peppery taste of freshly picked basil; brilliant jewel tones of a hot summer flower border; fiery hot colors of deciduous trees as they prepare to lose their leaves. Experiencing the change of seasons in the Northeast is a blessing. I love to learn and am excited to share my observations of nature with others.
